Who we are

This website is operated by FS Portfolio Management, a student initiative at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. The controller responsible for data processing is [Name], [Address], email [Email]. Questions about this policy can be sent to this address or through the contact page.

We keep data collection to what is necessary to run this website and to answer enquiries.

What we collect

Data you send us

If you get in touch through the contact form, we receive the details you enter. These are your name, your email address and your role and, depending on your role, your study programme, study level, semester, areas of interest, experience, LinkedIn profile and CV, or your organisation, position and website, as well as your message. We use these details only to answer your enquiry or to assess your application.

The form is provided by Tally BV, Sint-Pietersnieuwstraat 11, 9000 Gent, Belgium, which processes the data on our behalf. According to Tally, data is stored on servers within the European Union. After sending the form, you receive a confirmation email from Tally on our behalf.

Sending the form requires your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by writing to [Email].

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Framer B.V. in the Netherlands. When a page is requested, technical data such as IP address, browser type, referring page and time of the request is processed. This is required to deliver the site securely.

Fonts

This website and the contact form currently use fonts from Google Fonts, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When a page is opened, your browser loads the fonts from Google servers and transmits your IP address in the process. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States, which is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our interest in a consistent presentation of the website.

How long we keep data

Enquiries are deleted no later than [X months] after they have been dealt with. Applications, including CVs, are deleted no later than [X months] after the selection decision, unless you agree to a longer period. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a short period for security purposes.

The site uses only cookies that are technically necessary. No advertising or profiling cookies are set.

Legal basis

Data sent through the contact form is processed on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, where it concerns membership or cooperation, to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Technical data and fonts are processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in operating and presenting the website securely.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You can also complain to a supervisory authority, in Hesse the Hessischer Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.

Updates

If this policy changes, the updated version is published here with a new date.

Technical measures

Data is transmitted over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiry data is limited to the members who handle it.

Service providers

We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with the service providers named in this policy: Framer B.V. for hosting, Tally BV for the contact form and Google for fonts.
